In October 2020 I joined the SCTE, Society for Broadband Professionals as its Managing Editor, responsible for all marketing, events, webinars, podcasts and writing and editing its quarterly glossy magazine, Broadband Journal.

Previously I was a features writer at quarterly glossy Cinema Technology Magazine (UK) and European Correspondent at online journal Digital Cinema Report, based in New York.

My specialist area is the film sector, where I am a well known thought leader and industry commentator, featured regularly across all the B2B trade press, but I can find an angle in any subject, as I love the research that goes into writing a challenging piece. I also frequently produce and moderate panels at industry events and conferences worldwide and produce news coverage, interviews, long reads and reportage. However, in my new role in a new industry – COVID-19 hit the film industry hard – I have found myself writing in-depth analysis on subjects as varied as data centres and training programmes.

Prior to this I set up a UK based trade association in 2012, the Event Cinema Association, that became a global concern very quickly. As CEO I was responsible for all web copy, marketing strategy and execution as well as more general PR. I can adapt my writing style to existing tone-of-voice guidelines, while also comfortable in contributing to the evolution of your brand communications.

I am however extremely creative and write blogs, erotic fiction, travel guides, film and music reviews, a ghost-written novel, screenplays and speeches.

I am also happy producing data-heavy industry reports, feasibility studies and in depth, political analysis.

I was awarded 33rd Top Woman in Cinema in 2017 and ECA Outstanding Contribution to Event Cinema in 2016. In March 2023 I was selected as a writer to speak on a panel for International Women’s Day at a school in Peckham as part of an initiative by the National Literacy Trust
